I started in marketing when I was 16, no degree, no contacts, just a willingness to figure things out and a drive that wouldn’t quit. My first business began as a way to cope with anxiety, something that gave me control, purpose, and a space to create when everything else felt overwhelming. What started as a small outlet quickly turned into something so much more. Within six months, I was making over £5,000 a month. I dropped out of college, finished a 14-month digital marketing apprenticeship, and poured everything I learned into building my own brand, Thirty Seven Co.
I built a social media marketing business where I managed content, strategy, and growth for clients across multiple industries. I worked hands on inside service based businesses, learning what actually converts, what stops people from buying, and how to create content that builds trust and drives results. That experience didn’t just teach me how to market, it taught me how to lead.
